We are looking forward to a great meet this weekend - 23 Pilot swimmers, up from 14 last year! They welcome any and all volunteer help - timers, officials, etc - and would really love to have you! Keep in mind the spectator seating is not the greastest and if you work on deck you might be able to see your swimmer better. Email BarbFrith@carolina.rr.com if you would like to help. Thanks.

A warm-up schedule for Prelims sessions will follow soon-please look on web site for changes; there will be no assigned warm-up lanes for Thursday's events, or for the 10 & under and Finals sessions.

PARKING! Parking is available at the Aquatic Center on all days, at the Blake Hotel on all days, and at the Pearl Street Park lot on all days (directions below). THERE IS NO PARKING AT THE EDUCATION CENTER (ACROSS MLK BLVD FROM THE
AQUATIC CENTER) OR AT BOB WALTON PLAZA (BEHIND MCAC ON STONEWALL STREET) BEFORE 5:00 PM ON FRIDAY OR SATURDAY!
DIRECTIONS TO PEARL STREET PARK - Turn right out of MCAC parking lot, then right on to McDowell St. At light, turn left onto Stonewall. Go under the bridge. The parking lot is on the right, just past where the ramps from I-277 come into Stonewall.
There are no spaces lined, but we are allowed to park there - FREE! There will be signs marking the lot!

Age Group Sectionals – Team Trip Information

There will be 2 departure times for the swimmers attending the AG Sectional team trip.  The first van will leave at 9:30am* on Thursday, March 11th from the Suburban shopping center in West Knoxville.  The second van will leave from the same location at 4:30pm* on the same day.  Swimmers will need to present a check in the amount of $315 made payable to Pilot Aquatic Club upon boarding the bus.  All meals will be provided with this amount.  The swimmers leaving on the early van will need to pack a lunch for the van ride.  We will provide water and a cooler of Gatorade.  Please make sure that your swimmer brings a reusable drinking container.  If there are any other sports or performance drinks that your child favors, they will need to bring those on their own.  There are refrigerators in the hotel rooms.  Every swimmer will need to bring snacks to share on the van rides, please provide 10 individually wrapped goods.  Snacks could be anything from Rice Krispie treats to grapes.  The vans will return after the Finals session on Sunday night.  (Depending on how many make finals, we may have a van come back after prelims).  We will be in touch when we leave Charlotte and get closer to Knoxville.
